History of newspapers
The journey of newspapers in Bangladesh began during the British rule. The first Bengali newspaper was called 'Samachar Darpan', it was published in 1818. Which is known as the first Bengali newspaper in India. After that, the promotion and spread of Bengali newspapers gradually increased.
